“I wanted a metal hanger with some type of plastic or rubber coating to keep clothes from slipping & not leave marks on shoulders. I also wanted something that wouldn't take much space as I have way too many clothes.
I hate velvet hangers because of the way the feel. Plastic hangers break and take up space. These hangers are perfect. Note I ordered other similar hangers to these. If I had it to do over I would only order these. These were currently out of stock when I ordered the first set and I can see why. They are the best hangers on Amazon, they come well packaged and are even nicer than they look in pictures.”

Are the clips strong enough to hold wet jeans?
Answer:That may depend on the size of the jeans as I'm sure larger sizes could weigh 2 to 3 times as much when wet, but I regularly hang damp 32" waist x 32" inseam men's jeans from them without a problem, the clamps seem plenty strong (some in the reviews complained the spring clamps are too hard to open, personally I think they are just right), and the metal gauge of the hanger seems strong enough. I have not tried hanging sopping wet jeans from them but I think they would do the job without a problem.
